CHRISTIAN PLODERER

Christian Ploderer, born in Vienna in 1956, studied industrial design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna with Hans Hollein, Ettore Sottsass, Mario Bellini, Alessandro Mendini and Hermann Czech. Ploderer worked in interior, graphic and product design before specializing in the lighting sector – lighting design and lighting planning. From 1985 to 2009 he was the creative director of Vest Leuchten Vienna. Today he works primarily in lighting conception and planning as well as in product design for manufacturers and designs project-related individual objects.
